Earl recently had the opportunity to be interviewed by Dr. Annelise Mennicke from University of North Carolina Charlotte- School of Social Work program for their LGBTQ+ Health and Wellbeing course. During this interview, Earl had the opportunity to focus on Violence and Safety in the LGBTQIA+ community, where he primarily focused on the topics of Intimate Partner Violence, as well as the impact of intersectionality related to this work.

Native Son is an intergenerational movement, community and platform created to inspire and empower Black gay/queer men. Earl and his fellow co-hosts of The G.R.I.T.S. Co were honored to be recognized for their impact and work in 2023 along with other impactful Black Queer trailblazers and change agents. The Native Son 101 annual list celebrates and honors Black gay/queer men in the community who have done impactful work throughout the year.
